Adventure Rig

Film Agency from Berlin:
Location-Independent Video Production

Every filmmaker is absolutely fine with building a massive, complex, and carefully thought-out camera rig setup for client work, which includes a pre-production phase before the actual production. However, we also enjoy using our cameras during personal adventures, where minimalism and mobility are key to capturing special moments during our personal adventures. But here are the main challenges:

1. A travel-friendly camera rig that’s minimal, fully assembled, ready to shoot instantly, even in the middle of nowhere.
2. A backpack that fits as hand luggage, yet somehow accommodates a fully assembled rig (spoiler: it's nearly impossible).
3. A handheld setup that’s still somehow stabilized – so side or top handles are a must, ideally already attached to the camera.
4. No back or shoulder pain after long treks while carrying the rig.

The reality is this: planning for adventure filming without facing compromises is impossible. There's always the balancing act of being run-and-gun ready, while also taking the time to prepare for the unpredictable moments you'll encounter on your journey.

Is there a solution? Yes: embrace the compromises and improvise. Never give up on filming despite any challenges.
