Our filmmaker, Anait Sagoyan, shares: Before I got into commercial filmmaking, I was all about artistic film projects – a passion I still have today. I worked on short documentaries, experimenting with styles and blending genres to find my voice.

My approach to commercial storytelling, which is now my main focus, comes from those early days. That’s where I developed a love for well-thought-out compositions – sometimes following an academic approach, and other times boldly breaking the rules.

I feel that modern commercial filmmaking is leaning more toward true cinematography, as even the smallest story deserves an artistic touch.
